Travis Lee is a composer, recording engineer, classical pianist, and multi-instrumentalist specializing in cinematic scoring, hybrid orchestration, and modern music production. His work blends emotionally driven storytelling, strong melodic themes, and contemporary sound design, creating music that bridges cinematic composition with commercially relevant production.
With over 15 years of classical piano training, Travis developed a deep musical foundation that continues to shape his melodic and compositional approach. He earned a Master of Music in Music Technology from Southern Utah University and a Bachelor of Science in Music Technology from UNC Asheville, where he also studied Applied Classical Piano under Dr. Belcher.
Travis combines technical engineering expertise with creative composition experience. During his time at the Moog Factory, he assisted with engineering support and operational documentation for the Moog Taurus Pedal, further expanding his understanding of synthesis, sound design, and modern audio production workflows.
Passionate about film scoring and game audio, Travis focuses on creating immersive musical experiences that combine orchestral depth, cinematic textures, electronic production, and impactful sonic detail. His recent EP, “Dirt, Dust, and Debris,” showcases a distinctive hybrid sound that merges epic orchestral instrumentation, modern production techniques, and cinematic sound effects into a bold, emotionally driven listening experience.
In addition to his creative work, Travis brings more than 14 years of teaching experience as an educator and mentor, recognized for his energetic and passionate approach to music, technology, and creative development.

Composition
The organic process of Music Creation that embarks an original tune to a collective form. Inspiration exists by consuming ways of inventive Melodies, Harmonic Structures, Musical Phrases, Notes and/or Chord Progressions.
Arrangement
Typically contains a unique Musical Modification to the Rhythm, Tempo and Structure of any known, original work/composition.
Recording
A “Reel-to-Reel” tape recording of instruments, software instruments/VST, and/or MIDI programming onto a physical medium using a DAW (Pro Tools).
Editing
Vocal tuning, Time/Pitch Correction, Overdubbing and the Quantization of any Audio/MIDI recordings.
Mixing
The Balancing, Panning and Leveling of all tracks, instruments and vocal recordings, Gain Staging, and applying Signal Processors such as Fx, Reverbs, Delays, EQs, Compressors.
Mastering
The Final Stage in the music recording process that deeply interacts the listener to a cohesive, listening experience. This process engages the “Mastered” song, a Radio-Ready stereo mix, to any digital platform or streaming services such as Spotify, YouTube, iTunes.
